Distillery

I'm thrilled to share the incredible journey of Rock Creek Distillery, where every bottle tells a story. My name is Jason Swanson, and our story begins with a tale of passion, success, and a touch of entrepreneurial spirit. 

 

In 1999, my long-time business partner and best friend, Lance Schultz, and I embarked on a unique adventure by acquiring a portable toilet business. We transformed it, not only tripling its revenue in a short three years but also selling the company. With just four days off that year, we launched J&L Oilfield Services, a venture that added to our repertoire of successful businesses. Throughout the years, Lance and I have discovered a unique synergy, working seamlessly together. We successfully sold our two-decade business in May of 2023, along with other ventures.

 

And this is where the story gets truly exciting. Rock Creek Distillery emerged as more than just a hobby in 2017. We have proudly introduced three exceptional brands under the Rock Creek umbrella - Schultz Vodka, Dead Parrot Rum, and now Split Tail Bourbon and Rye Whiskey. These spirits embody the craftsmanship, dedication, and innovation that define Rock Creek Distillery.
